School Choice


Note:  The Choice online application is not available until February 1.


During the 2022-2023 school year, Good Shepherd will once again participate in the Wisconsin Parental Choice Program (WPCP).   

As part of the application process, students new to the Choice Program must provide proof of income and residency documentation. Continuing Choice students only need to provide residency documentation. 

Open enrollment for WPCP is February 1-April 21.  All required supporting documentation must be received by Good Shepherd during the open enrollment periods.  Students may apply entering grades PK4, K, Grade 1, or any grade if at a new school.

Good Shepherd was accepted as a WPCP school beginning in the 2015-2016 school year.  We are excited to offer the opportunity for families who qualify to receive a voucher from the State of Wisconsin to pay for their children's tuition.  We currently have 40 students who are receiving vouchers to attend Good Shepherd.

Application Steps


1.  Fill out the online application

2.  Choose to verify your income either by DOR or DPI.  Follow instructions. 

3.  You will be told if you need to submit documentation to the school

3.  You will be notified by the Choice Program regarding your acceptance  

4.  You contact the school to let them know you intend on attending.

After you apply online, you may need to provide proof of residency and/or proof of income documentation to our office at Good Shepherd. Proof of residency is typically a utility or phone bill.  Proof of income is typically your federal tax return.  The WI DPI will give you a full list of acceptable documentation.
