Politics Is Driving Me Crazy

Sundays at 9:15am Led by John Paustian in the downstairs IMC 

Pastor Charles Degner offers a note of calm and a return to sanity as he leads us to listen to God, who rules over all things.  This four-lesson Bible study will help students understand and appreciate the separation of church and state and how we as Christians can best serve our fellow people.  The lessons are:  A Tale of Two Kingdoms, the Imperfect State, the Separation of Church and State, and Our Messy Political World.  This Bible study is to be followed by another 4-week class, All Stressed Up and Nowhere to Blow.

Teen Bible Studies (8th grade and Up)

Sunday at 9:15am Led by Teen Leaders in the Fireside Room 

Christian fellowship and service events are also held throughout the year.

Our New Bible Information Class

Wednesday Nights at 7:00pm Led by Pastor Robert Hein in the Fellowship Hall, Beginning September 2nd 

"Our New Life with Jesus" will be held Wednesday nights (13 Sessions).  This course covers the fundamental teachings of the Bible--a refresher course for our members and a great introduction to the Bible for those who would like to learn more or may be looking for a church home.  This course serves as our Adult membership class.  There is no cost or obligation to join.  Come and learn more!  Invite a friend or family member to join you.  To register in advance, contact the church office at 334-7881.

Abraham, His Trials and Triumphs

Wednesday Mornings at 9:00am Led by Pastor Richard E. Lauersdor in the Church, Beginning September 9th

Wednesday Morning Bible Class begins again on September 9th at 9:00am in the church (to promote more physical distancing.)  Our topic is, "Abraham, His Trials and Triumphs".  Materials from past online lessons will be available.  Sorry, no Schnecken at this time.  Come, join our Bible Class Family.  We would love to have you!

Mom's Bible Study - The Chosen

Friday Mornings at 8:00am Led by Marilyn Sievert in The Fellowship Hall, Beginning September 11th

Starting Friday, September 11th from 8-9am, in the Fellowship Hall and continuing on Fridays when school is in session.  New procedures will be in place, but we have a great topic and will be reconnecting with Jesus and the world he came to seek and save.  Child care will be provided in the Fireside Room by moms, not grammas, through a child care exchange.  Topic:  The Chosen - This portrayal of Jesus has been an internet phenomenon, viewed over 50 million times.  Grasp the world in which Jesus chose his disciples and see how he revealed his grace with his understanding of their Jewish culture.

Sunday Mornings at 9:15am Beginning September 13th  

All children through 7th grade are invited to come have fun with us learning about Jesus and His love through Bible stories, crafts, games, songs, and fun activities.  Bringing your children to worship and Sunday School is a great way to set them on the right path, so they stay closely connected to Jesus all the days of their lives. REGISTER 

Pioneers (1st to 8th Graders)

2nd and 4th Monday Nights of the Month from 6:00pm to 7:30pm Beginning September 14th

Welcoming all 1st to 8th grade!  You do not need to be a member of Good Shepherd or go to Good Shepherd School to join Pioneers.  It is open to all children.  The cost for the year is $25/child.  We have a two-night fall camping event for both boys and girls.  Regular meetings include cooking, crafts, games, and Christian fellowship with other children.

Little Lambs Childcare Center

Child Care for Ages Newborn to 12 years Old

A ministry of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, offering childcare for newborns and up in a safe and loving Christian environment.  Before and after school care and a summer program are also available.  Call 262-338-1764 for a tour or to learn more.  Little Lambs is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year of sharing Christ's love with his precious lambs.

Special Events

Christmas for Kids (Potty Trained through 4th Grade)

Date is to be determined for 2020 

Join us for Christmas for Kids in 2020 (2019 took place Dec. 7th)!  The children will learn the joyous meaning of Christmas at different stations for singing, crafts, video, Bible story, cookie decorating, and fun.  All adult volunteers are asked to attend the yearly training class.  If you wish to support this outreach program financially, please use a yellow "Kid's Program" envelope in the church narthex.  Gifts are needed to cover costs for crafts, advertising, and gifts for the children.

Men's Bible Breakfast

Saturday Morning Bible Study

September 19th from 8-9:30am in the Fellowship Hall

Men, you are invited to our next Men’s Bible Breakfast.    Enjoy a hearty meaty breakfast, served by our Board of Evangelism, and a short Bible study.  Special safety precautions will be taken in serving and eating.  This is a great way to grow in your faith and get to know your brothers in Christ at Good Shepherd better.  Please sign up in the narthex or online here.

Special Health and Safety Concern Service

Saturdays at 4:00pm beginning September 12th

This service is open to all but intended for those who have special health and safety concerns.  Masks are required and there will be no congregational singing.  Music from WELS choirs will be played however.
