Sunday mornings at 9:15-10:15am... Coffee and Christ


**9:15 am  in the fellowship hall and the IMC downstairs. 

“The Miracles of Jesus as Told by John—From Cana to the Empty Tomb”  There are a thousand ways to tell a story. Why does John tell these stories in the way he does? We’ll take a verse by verse look at each account. Led by Pastor John Pausti-an in the fellowship hall.  This is an eight week class, beginning March 24th.  Attend any session.

"Biblical Truth; Defend it! Cherish It! Share it!"  Learn to defend key truths of the Bible and share them with others. Topics include: Exist-ence of God, Creation, the Flood, Existence of Evil, Sexuality, Reliability of the Bible, Jesus’ Identity, and the Resurrection. 8 week study. Led by Pastor Robert Hein down in the IMC. Elevator is available.  This is an eight week class beginning March 24th.  Attend any session.

Teen Topical Bible Studies are held Sundays in the Fireside Room. Led by ChristTeen’s leaders .


**Sunday School resumes September 9th at 9:15 am for children 3 and up. Register in the narthex. God calls on parents to bring up their children in the training and instruc on of the Lord. Bringing them to worship and Sunday School sets them on the righ path to stay connected to Jesus. Par- ents and children will meet right a er the Dedica on Ceremony in the Fel- lowship Hall around 9:20 am for ori- enta on. The teachers will then lead their students to their classrooms. We will install our Sunday School teachers at the 8:00 am service on September 9th.

**Public School Catechism Class for 7th and 8th graders will be held Wednesday nights from 6:30-8:00 beginning Wednesday September 5th. Pastor Paustian will lead the class the first half of the year; Pastor Hein, the second. Since spiritual growth is our goal, regular a endance at worship and Sunday School is expected. Call Pastor Hein this summer at 334-7881 to set up an appointment to meet personally about the goals of catechism instruction and to register your child.


**Monday Evening Class - "Our New Life with Jesus" is taught by Pastor Hein at 7:00 P.M.  This class is for anyone wanting to learn the fundamental teachings of the Bible preparatory to joining Good Shepherd.  Members are welcome to take this as a refresher course.  There are 13-sessions.  The class runs from March 18th onward. There is no cost or obligation.  Contact Pastor Hein (334-7881) to join.

**Wednesday Morning Bible Class - "The Book of Daniel" is held on Wednesdays at 9:00 am.  Daniel was one of the young men, along with those renamed Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, taken to Babylon when Nebuchadnezzar, King of Babylon, conquered Judah in 605 B.C.  God blessed Daniel, and he rose to be chief governor over the province of Babylon after interpreting Nebuchadnezzar’s dreams.  The book records events during the 70-year captivity and prophetic visions God gave Daniel.  It makes it clear that God is the supreme ruler over heaven and earth, even when all seems lost.  The class is led by Pastor Lauersdorf.

**Women’s Thursday Bible Study. The topic is “Beautiful Feet.” 4 weeks, September 13 - October 4 at 7:00 pm at Good Shepherd. God has equipped you with uniquely beautiful feet for your walk with Him. In Beautiful Feet, spend me taking a closer look at Your feet, and the feet of those around us. Be reminded that Christ walks beside us, and we must learn and follow what the Lord is calling our feet to do. Led by Marilyn Sievert. Sign up in the narthex for planning purposes.

**Time Out For Mom’s Friday Bible Study - All moms are invited to this 8:00 A.M. class. The theme for the current class is "Ephesian--Included in Christ."

Saturday Morning Bible Study: Watch the news for the next one in our new Fellowship Hall. 

Men, you are invited to our next Men’s Bible Breakfast.    Enjoy a hearty meaty breakfast, served by our Board of Evangelism, and a short Bible study Saturday, September 15, from 8:00-9:30 am.  This is a great way to grow in your faith and get to know your brothers in Christ at Good Shepherd better.
