Sunday mornings at 9:15-10:15am... Coffee and Christ

NEW SUNDAY BIBLE STUDIES

**9:15 am starting September 9th in the fellowship hall and the IMC. (Shortened lessons will follow the Dedication on the first Sunday.)

**“Using God’s Gfts to God’s Glory” Any gift of God can be misused. Learn to use God’s gifts to his glory and for the benefit of others. Gifts include – Freedom, Authority, Spiritual gifts, Speech, Sexuality, Money, and the Gospel. Led by Pastor Robert Hein.

**Ten Words of Wisdom When We Find God’s Law Under Attack, we have more to say than just, “You’re wrong!” We will discuss ways in which we can help people see the 10 Commandments as expressions of God’s love designed to protect blessings. Led by Pastor John Paustian.

SUNDAY SCHOOL/PUBLC INSTRUCTION

**Sunday School resumes September 9th at 9:15 am for children 3 and up. Register in the narthex. God calls on parents to bring up their children in the training and instruc on of the Lord. Bringing them to worship and Sunday School sets them on the righ path to stay connected to Jesus. Par- ents and children will meet right a er the Dedica on Ceremony in the Fel- lowship Hall around 9:20 am for ori- enta on. The teachers will then lead their students to their classrooms. We will install our Sunday School teachers at the 8:00 am service on September 9th.

**Public School Catechism Class for 7th and 8th graders will be held Wednesday nights from 6:30-8:00 beginning Wednesday September 5th. Pastor Paustian will lead the class the rst half of the year; Pastor Hein, the second. Since spiritual growth is our goal, regular a endance at worship and Sunday School is expected. Call Pastor Hein this summer at 334-7881 to set up an appointment to meet personally about the goals of catechism instruction and to register your child.

WEEKDAY BIBLE STUDIES

**Our new Bible Information Class, “Our New Life With Jesus” will be held Monday nights at 7:00, beginning September 10th. 13 lessons covering the fundamental teachings of the Bible--a refresher for our members and a great introduction to the Bible for those may be looking for a church home. Invite a friend or family member to join you. To register, contact the church office at 334-7881. Led by Pastor Robert Hein in our new Fireside Room.

** Wednesday Morning Bible Class - "Living with Joy in Our Heart," a study of Philippians. Wednesday, September 5th at 9:00 am. Paul was in prison at Rome facing execu on and yet speaks about joy. Led by Pastor Richard E. Lauersdorf.

**Fall Bible Study - “God, the Ultimate Humanitarian”. Take a journey through the Bible to learn what a gra- cious giver God is, and how richly he blesses our lives today. Each week we will come away renewed with peace, hope, joy and gra tude. Based on a book by Pastor Mark Cares. Led by Pastor Hein on Thursday nights beginning September 13th at 7:00 pm. (7 sessions) Signup in the narthex.

**Women’s Thursday Bible Study. The topic is “Beautiful Feet.” 4 weeks, September 13 - October 4 at 7:00 pm at Good Shepherd. God has equipped you with uniquely beautiful feet for your walk with Him. In Beautiful Feet, spend me taking a closer look at Your feet, and the feet of those around us. Be reminded that Christ walks beside us, and we must learn and follow what the Lord is calling our feet to do. Led by Marilyn Sievert. Sign up in the narthex for planning purposes.

**Time Out For Mom’s Friday Bible Study - All moms invited. Theme for September 14, 21 & 28 is “Sisterhood is Powerful!“ a review and recap of True Woman 101, God's design for women, a study of Titus 2. If you have a book, bring it! If not, there will be some to share. Led by Marilyn Sievert in our new Fireside Room. Free childcare provided. October 5, 12, 19 & 26 our theme is “Beautiful Feet.” God has equipped you with uniquely beautiful feet for your walk with Him. Spend some me taking a closer look at your own feet, and the feet of those around you. Christ walks beside us, and calls us to follow. November 9, 16 & 30 and December 14, 21 our theme is “The Mom God Chose”. Discover more about the mother of Jesus. Learn timeless truths for raising your own children. You'll be reminded to rely on your heavenly Father in all the trials you face as a mom.

MEN'S BIBLE BREAKFAST

Saturday Morning Bible Study: Watch the news for the next one in our new Fellowship Hall. 

Men, you are invited to our next Men’s Bible Breakfast.    Enjoy a hearty meaty breakfast, served by our Board of Evangelism, and a short Bible study Saturday, September 15, from 8:00-9:30 am.  This is a great way to grow in your faith and get to know your brothers in Christ at Good Shepherd better.
